..and the shoe missed its target...THE BANDAR!!

Its a free world, and so am I. Free to express my feelings about anything I wish for!!

and this is exactly what happened In Baghdad on Monday 15th December 2008, when a reporter felt like expressing his feelings towards the President of The United states, Mr George W.Bush, by throwing his "size 10 shoes" (as reported by the president himself) at him, one after the other.

When I watched the video, I just could not stop laughing for a good 15 minutes. Those of you who have seen it, will agree how HILARIOUS it was. The president ducks and saves himself....ah...I wish he had not missed the shoes.

I wish that shoe had smacked that monkey face real hard! with all due respect Mr Bush...you DO resemble a Bandar ( BUN-Dh_ERR) :) and there are a million people who will agree to that.

Anyways coming back to the topic, the reporter showed his hatred towards MR Bandar, and who wouldn't want to do that. I am sure we all have only imagined doing this when ever we see his face flashing on the screens, but only this courageous guy, the Iraqi reporter had the balls to pull it off. A big round of applause for him!!!!( he has already been considered not just as a national hero But as a Muslim Hero!! )

One needs to have a lot of "guts" to be able to do something like that. And I am sure it did scare Bush to death when he saw the shoe flying towards him, but he had the nerves to later on pretend that he didn't know why the reporter threw the shoes and said and I quote "It's a way for people to draw attention" oh come on Respected (not to mention insulted by this whole episode) Mr G.W. Bush, THIS was ONE way to show HATRED and CONTEMPT probably a lot of people feel for you, even most of the Americans.

Muntazer al-Zaidi, I salute you man, for actually being this courageous and for not fearing the aftermath of it all, and for screaming " This is a gift from Iraqis, a farewell kiss you dog". I wish I could lend you all my shoes, so that you could throw them one by one, and insult him for all that he has caused.

this was the Iraqi verdict of the Bush's reign, I wonder what Pakistani Verdict would be like.... ??? wicked??? ;)
a farewell KISS you Bandar!!!

am I worthy of being this privileged??

few bearded men sitting in a round depression in a large room....and I am sitting with them.
I don't remember the topic of discussion anymore, but I did remember it this morning.
suddenly I look back , and I see people surrounding someone, everyone is wearing either green or white...
it seems like they are all protecting someone, and then some how I get to know that it is our holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) who is being guarded by bearded men.
I then see a man approaching our holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) and the guards with a gun, and I......jump up with a similar gun in my hand, and dive into the air at the same time pressing the trigger, probably killing the man, attempting to shoot our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) NaoozoBillah
and then I woke up.....
this is the second time I got the privilege of seeing our Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) this year. I just cant explain how happy I am. But I keep thinking, am I worthy of being bestowed upon with SUCH a big thing as this????
Thank you My Lord for such a wonderful dream.
(Prophet P.B.U.H kee ziarat kee khohaish kiss ko nahi ho gee.....)
I guess I am LUCKY!! :)
(but who was that Man trying to shoot?? and why?? )

Cling and Clatter: Little boy on the road
a little something that made me think, you ought to have no self respect/self esteem when you ask others for money. This boy, probably needs money to survive but still he chose not to beg for it!!!

one of my PASSIONS!!

every passing day, I learn something new about myself.....
I realized yesterday, that I did not know much about myself up until recently.
Sheffield, has made me come closer to myself.
I came to Sheffield to become a specialist in my field, i-e dentistry. What I did not know was that I would be pursuing a few of my passions here too.
I always enjoyed dancing, but never in my wildest dreams had I ever thought I would be actually learning different dance styles here!!!
Dance is a form of expression that helps a person to discover a whole new world...a profession for some...a passion for me
so far I have learned :
Bollywood style dancing
belly dance (very erotic I must say :P)
Ceilidh(Scottish Country dance)
Salsa and meringue
and these were all taught by professionals....
lets see if I open up a clinic in Islo or a dance society on my return to Pakistan!! ;)
